Cut two pieces of felt smaller all around than the ears in the same shape as
the ears, but round off the top portion a little more. Place the felt pieces on top of
each ear, lining up the flat bottom sides of the felt and ears. Run a long
gathering stitch around the edge of the knit ear. Gather slightly and fold over felt,
sewing edge of ear to felt. Stitch through all layers. Place ears on hat in Teddy
Bear position, pinch the ears from inside the hat and stitch through all layers to
attach. You will actually be making a pleat in the hat for each ear to sit in. Use
regular sewing thread to form and attach ears in color to match yarn.
